It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Ruth McCaig (Toledo, Ohio), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 23, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James McCaig; and her siblings, Caroline Hackman and Monte Walker. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Joyce (James), Lori Tierney (Michael) and Jim McCaig (Lisa); her grandchildren, Sarah Joyce, Shannon Joyce, Patrick Tierney, Daniel Joyce, Kierney McCaig, John Tierney, Sheamus McCaig and Liam McCaig; her sister Kay Houghton; and her brother-in-law Gerald McCaig. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Donations may be made in Helen's name to the Humane Society.
