He was predeceased by: his father John; and his son Shaun Chmielewski. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Chmielewski; his mother Evelyn Chmielewski; his children, Erin Estep (Dave) of Jessica Chmielewski and Gerald Chmielewski (Brittany); his siblings, John Chmielewski and Sharon Tuck (Brian); and his grandchildren, Tristan, Pretty, Evelynn, Anthony, Leah, Emma and Amelia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
