He is survived by: his wife Jacquline Wakefield of Bear's Den; his sons, Kraig (Yinka) and Kirk (Michelle); his grandchildren, Lulu Masha-Haynes, Derin Masha, Tola Kamara, Omolara Clay, Kirk Clay Jr., Abisola Clay, Langston Clay and James Clay; his nieces and nephews, Rhonda Odoms-Marshall (Eric), Jeanna Odoms-Temple (Reginald), Tina Gillems, Linae Gillems, Sierra Odoms, Jennifer Taylor, Robert Odoms (Michelle), Marc Odoms (Gevenia), Jason Odoms (Janelle), Aaron Parker (Erica), Ted Mebane and Kelwyn Mebane (Monique); his cousins, Myron Ball Sr. (Linda) and Marsha Calloway; and his aunt Mildred Taylor.
George's warm spirit, dedication to family, and contributions to his community will be remembered fondly by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
