He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Schmidlin and Paulina Schmidlin (Dolgner); and his siblings, Glenden, Robert, Harold, William, Hazel Holden, Thelma Foley and Ruth Wolf.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Lou Poucher; his daughter Susan Rohr (Keith); his granddaughter Erica Huddle (Koert); his son Mark Schmidlin (Sandy); his grandchildren, Heather Khouri (Josh) and Jared Schmidlin (Sarah Ford); his great grandchildren, Makalya, Megan Khouri, David, Claire Schmidlin, Bennett and Collins Huddle; and his siblings-in-law, Howell and Ann Poucher.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ansberg-West Funeral Home (3000 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43613). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, American Heart Association, or the Donor's Choice.
