She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Perez and Isabel Perez (Guerra); and her husband Baldemar B. C. Cantu. She is survived by: her daughter Bee Huss (Matthew); her stepchildren, Sylvia Cantu and Richard Cantu; her grandchildren, Joseph Cantu, Sophia Trout (Phillip), Melinda Martinez (Eusebio), Isabel Rabish (Daryl) and Michael Cantu (Yecenia); and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Grayson Cantu, Ambrosia, Aaniyah, Austin, Marion Trout, Isaiah Cantu, Angelo Cantu, Olivia Rabish, Ileana and Michael Cantu, Jr..
