She was predeceased by: her husband Chic; her grandson Toma Rutten; her siblings, David Zillinger, Wilma Boyd Lovell, Phyllis Zillinger, Georgie Robinson, Rita Watts, Donna Rutten, Rose Rutten and Angela Koziol; and her brothers-in-law, Gerald Cook, Johnnie Boyd, Duane Karmann, Don Lovell, Paul Pfeifer, Maurice Rutten, Mark Rutten, Orville Robinson, Bill Wilson, Leo Koziol and Harold Pfeifer.
She is survived by: her son Sam Rutten; her friend Janet Moody of Belgrade; her children, Ben Rutten (Doris Kolm) of Cedar Rapids, Kim Schilousky (Dan) of Cedar Rapids and Jay Rutten (Sylvia) of Cedar Rapids; her daughter-in-law Carman Rutten (David) of York; her sisters, Helen Cook of Albion and Marianne Karmann of Albion; and also, Bob Watts Sr., Ray Rutten, Barb Rutten, Veronica Pfeifer and Marlene Wilson.
