He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin J. Cherry, Sr. and Ramona E. Cherry (Tucker); his daughter Gail Bechtel; and his siblings, Jim, Susie, Rosie and Mary Lou.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Williams; his children, Cynthia Adams of Holland and Mark Cherry (Laurie) of Holland; his grandchildren, Kelly Humble (Bill), Corey Adams (Erica) and Jay Bechtel (Tiffany); and his son-in-law Kent Bechtel. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
