He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Edward, II, Melody Lindsey-Price (Emil) and June Ervin-Williams (Jimmie) of North Carolina; his Spiritual Mom Florie Huntley; his sisters, Carol Perryman and Verdell Lawson; his nephew Harold Lindsey, Jr. (Genese); his siblings-in-law, Percy Rankins (Rose), Ruby Bray, Delores Lindsey and Nancy Lindsey; his grandchildren, Brianka Ervin of Texas, Diamanique Hunter, Airielle, Roy, K'Yon, Keyon, Trinity, Moriah, Samaria, Summer, E'mauri, Eamon, Edward, III, Lindsey and Xavier (Morgann Price); his godchildren, Sheridan Lindsey, Jonathan James, Deliyah Williams and Kim Carrington-Rambus; and his close friend Dieshell Williams (Wayne Wilson). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and a multitude of relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Church of God (3016 Collingwood Blvd, Toledo, OH 43610). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery (1540 Central Ave, Toledo, OH 43606).
