She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lathon and Elvira Jones Lathon (Willie); her son Willie Ernest Beene; her siblings, John Riley Lathon, Durie Lee Lathon, Willie Lee Lathon, Charles Lathon, Elnora Robins, Arleader Orr and Pauline Barnes; her brothers-in-law, Glen Robins, Lee Allen Mccoy, Forest Tynes, Willie McKinney and Sammy Barnes; and her sons-in-law, Jerry Murray and John Algee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Golden (Sammy), Mary C. Algee, Janet Beene (Benny Seay), Janice Beene (J. C. Smith) and June Golden (James); her grandchildren, Deanne Madison, Raymond Green, Tracy Murray, Jacinda Beene, Angel Beene, Stacy Macklin (DeMon) and Jajmylynn Beene; and her sister Annie Lou Coleman.
