He is survived by: his mother Eleanor Clinton (Tussing); his wife Deborah J Clinton (Hartford); his children, Jeffery Mark Clinton (Claudia), Laurie D. Newton, Dawn M. Newton and Jacqueline L. Newton; and his sisters, Sue Cherry (Greg) and Joyce Jackson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
