He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Slaninka; his siblings, Verona Anderson, Rose Coon, Mary Ostofi, Vincent Slaninka, Anthony Slaninka, Joseph Slaninka and Frank Slaninka; and his great grandchild Infant Mossing.

He is survived by: his daughter Janice Mossing (Joseph); his grandchildren, Lawrence Mossing (Becky), Gregory Mossing (Amy) and Sarah Kos (Christopher); and his great grandchildren, Taylor Jr. and Christopher Jr..

Memorial tributes may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
