She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Sadie Smith (Worona); her son James "DJ" Flaherty; her sister Beverly Charles; her niece Susan Jantzen; and her grandson Michael Flaherty.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Bellfy (John); her granddaughters, Brittani Bellfy and Breanne Kidd (Mark); her great grandchildren, Piercen, Brunner, Kylie, Abby, Hannah and Alex; and her nieces, Kim Kaseman (Jeff) and Lisa Giroux (Jeff).
