He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Glenn and Doris Elizabeth Bolbach; his son Andrew; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Bolbach and Mary Eleanor Maloy.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Rose Gietl; his children, Rebecca Macy (Steve) of Memphis, TN, Peter Bolbach (Angela) of Aurora, OH and Benjamin Bolbach (Samantha) of Sylvania, OH; his siblings, Richard Bolbach (Pat), Barton Bolbach, Chris Kleman (Brian) and Tim Bolbach (Elaine); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Andrew, Lauren, Noah, Anna, Adeline and Evangeline.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Kidney Fund or the Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio.
