He was predeceased by: his son Mark Anaple; and his brother Thomas Anaple. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Janet McComas; his brothers, John Anaple (Lois) and Timothy Anaple (Edna); his children, Gayle Piersol, Laura Anaple, Deborah Semaan (Abed), Michael Anaple (Lori), Joel Anaple (Tilsia) and Cynthia Lau (James); his grandchildren, Kirk, John, Sabrina Piersol, Kendall Griffin, Leila Aldana (Felipe), Nathanael Semaan, Travis, Mitchell, Alyvia Anaple, Andrew Stanton (Destinee) and Alyson Stanton; and his great grandchildren, Claire Stanton, Sarina Siebers, Gabriela Siebers, Eric Sargent and Isabell Sargent.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio and The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
