She was predeceased by: her parents, Phyllis Byrd (Hazllet) and Gailbraith Byrd; and her son Richard Miko. She is survived by: her siblings, Pamela Jackson and Richard Allen DeCius; her nieces, Jennifer A. Gorny (Jake), Beth Ann Patterson (Darrell), Sonya R. Wagonfield, Tara A. Miko and Phyllis A. Coley (William); her nephew Richard Jackson; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brianna, Christian, Allysa, Tyler, Travis (Angel), Trenton (Emilia), Trista, Tryna, Asher, Remi, Zenick, Garret, Jaydian, Jaylin, Jayla, Jameson and Callysta.
A reception was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Blanchard Strabler Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, OH 43613).
