We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2024, at the age of 64, Chester H. Rahrs Jr. of Toledo, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Chester may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Lydia A. Smith (Rahrs), James H. Magers and Donald F. Magers; and his parents, Donalva M. Magers (Limmer) and Frank Magers. He was also cherished by his brothers, sister, sister-in-law, (2) nieces, (3) nephews, (4) great-nephews, (4) great-nieces and (1) great-great niece and many close friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a memorial contribution to the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System.
