She is survived by: her friend Tinleigh Nicole; her husband Chris; her daughter Danielle Hogan (Merritt); her son-in-law Chris Hogan of Delaware; her father John Poorman; her sisters, Vicky Zeigler, Chris Zeigler of Lexington, Patty Banton and Dale Banton of Pleasant Garden; her sister-in-law Vicky Merritt; her nieces and nephews, Samantha, Bella, Libby, Nick and Matt; her husband Tony C. Merritt; her mother Janet Poorman; and also Brogan of Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lexington Local Schools to establish a scholarship in Carol's honor.
