He was predeceased by: his parents, Delia Alvarado Sr. (Garza) and Carlos Sr. Alvarado; his brothers-in-law, Miguel Covarrubias and Gary Stobaugh; and his cousin Mark Garza.
He is survived by: his wife Jayne Alvarado (Dunn); his children, Jesse Liddle, MaryCecilia Alvarado, Diana Bergman (Patrick), Alicia Alvarado (Timothy Brzuchalski), Belinda Alvarado (Mohammed Alghabawi) and Teresa Alvarado (Ryan Prior); his sisters, Gloria Stobaugh and Lillian Covarrubias; his grandchildren, Emma, Noah, Zachary, Jacob Bergman, Ophelia, Adelaide Brzuchalski, Aisha Alghabawi, Yasmeen Ramadan, Madyson and Ryley Prior; and his siblings-in-law, Colleen Krajcar (John) and Scott Dunn (Rebecca). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
