He is survived by: his wife Marsha; his children, Michael Degens (Susan) and Wendee Degens; his grandchildren, Haley Degens and Devin Takacs; and his siblings, Phil Degens of Sandpoint Idaho and Mary Ann Bommarito (Joe) of Pensacola Florida.
