He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony E. Holman and Anna S. Holman (Hubert); his wife Helen L. Clouse; his son-in-law Brad Szilagyi; and his siblings, Allen, Herman, Porter, Leonard, Omer, Carl Holman, Catherine Mosier, Cecelia Droll, Bernadine Droll and Mary Kinn.

He is survived by: his children, Sandy DeRose (Mark), Linda Holman, Chuck Holman (Jenny) and Scott Holman (Robyn); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Aaron, Joshua, Rebecca, Leah, Jacquelyn, Alisha, Erica, Eli, Sarah and Colt; and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Gabriella, Isabella, Annalisa, Emmy, Connor, Audrey, Nolan and Parker.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoening & Son Funeral Home - Fostoria (133 W Tiffin St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A rosary was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church (323 N Wood St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery (765 Van Buren St, Fostoria, OH 44830). A reception will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church (323 N Wood St, Fostoria, OH 44830).

Memorials are suggested to St. Wendelin Church or Bridge Hospice Care.
