He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Grohnke and Mary Jane Grohnke (Briggs); his daughter Lisa Lynn Grohnke; and his sister Debra Vermilyea. He is survived by: his wife Freddie Grohnke (Smith); his children, Kari Grohnke and Richard Grohnke; his siblings, Michael Grohnke (Sandi) and Cheryl Cousino; his granddaughter Hailee Grice (Hope Grohnke); his great grandchild Leo King; and his stepchildren, Angel Champion and Josh Olvera. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Junvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
