Tim Shaman wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sorry to learn of the passing of my Aunt Adair. She was always like a second mother to me. My family loved her very much. I will always cherish the loving memories that I have of being with her and Uncle Jim. I'll never forget the train rides that I took with my Mom from Dayton to Toledo to visit in days gone by. I am also proud to know that I believe the same things she did about freedom and equality for all people. God bless you and may you live on in our hearts forever. God love you!”
