He was predeceased by: his father Grover Kaple; his brother Grover P. Kaple (Junior); and his son Ean Kaple. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Kaple (Cotsamire); his son Dr. Eric Kaple of Willard, Ohio; his stepchildren, Kellie Ondich (Phil) of Bucyrus, Ohio and Michael Richardson (Haley) of Bucyrus, Ohio; his stepgrandchildren, Gabrielle Henderson (Andrew) of Chicago, Illinois, Zane Richardson of Toledo, Ohio and Donna Richardson of Columbus, Ohio; his sister Marcine Taylor (Bob) of Powell, Ohio; and his sister-in-law Norma Kaple of New Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
