She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Hunter and Vera Hunter (Phy); her husband Hollis Melvin Jackson; and her siblings, Reba Pharris, Lyda Nelson and Harold Hunter.

She is survived by: her son Bill; her grandchildren, Chris and Melissa Zemcik (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Madi and Breanna.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
