He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwin and Buna; his wife Doris Gentry; and his brother Billy Gentry. He is survived by: his children, Denise Hooper (Jim) of Tipp City, Dana Murphy (Ryan) of Tipp City and Darren Gentry (Christine) of Tipp City; his siblings, Joan Bibb (Dick) of Vandalia and Terry Gentry of Medway, Ohio.; and his grandchildren, Catie Croy (Nathan), Rachel Spoon (Zachary), Andy Hooper (Taylor), Joshua Morter, Meghan Clint (Ryan), Leah Fawley (Caleb), Micah Gentry (Jasmine), Moriah Bedea (Dominic), Michaela Garcia (Daniel) and Makenna Gentry. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
