He is survived by: his wife Laurie Bretland (Lemon); his children, Michelle Bretland and Andrew Bretland (Courtney) of Union; his stepchildren, Mary Tesch (Austin) of Piqua and Joseph Tesch of Tipp City, Ohio.; and his brothers, Matthew Bretland of Troy, Mark Bretland (Judy) of Hammersville and Eric Bretland of Troy, Ohio..
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tipp City Global Methodist Church (8 W Main St, Tipp City, OH 45371). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
