He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Roscoe and Zelda Garnet Pyles (Payne); his former wife Carolyn Ann Pyles (Conn); his great grandchild Oliver Pyles; and his sister Gertrude Clark.

He is survived by: his children, Ty (Teresa), Tami, Tawnya and Treven Pyles; his grandchildren, Brenda Kulowiyi, Kairee Cedermaz (Jonathan), Amber Robertson (Shane), Whitney Pyles-Dodds (Ryan), Connor Pyles (Erika), Jacob Knierim (Anne), Anna Theiss (AJ) and Maddison York-Curtis (Ivy); his great grandchildren, Irie, Owen, Eden, Isla Pyles-Samuels, Micah, Willow Pyles-Dodds, Maya, Aurther Cedermaz, Theo Pyles, Arden Kulowiyi, Levi Wallace, Remi, Max Theiss, Payton and Grevin Robertson; and his wife Easter.
