It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Werts (Tipp City, Ohio), born in Sinking Spring, Ohio, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dale D. Werts. She is survived by: her children, Susan Hickey (Chuck), Sharon Black, Shirley Shoup (Tony) and David Werts (Gina); her grandchildren, Dan Hickey (Olivia), Tom Hickey (Sabra), Betsy Claman (Dan), Katie Helfenberger (Kay), John Hickey (Jena), Colman Hickey, Greg Hickey (Stacy), Tess Hickey, Annie Maxwell (Ben), Mindy Swartz (Dustin), Becca Shoup, Zack Shoup and Ayse Altunisik; and her sisters, Joan Strobridge and Nancy Weaver. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
