She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Swank and Mary Swank (Emerick); her former husbands, William Reynolds and Albert Arnett; her son Nicholas Reynolds; and her siblings, Gloria Carey and Willard Swank, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband William M. Roop; her sons, Daniel Reynolds of Vandalia, Richard Reynolds of Huber Heights and Charles Reynolds of Vandalia; her stepdaughters, Melinda Drake (Timothy) of Tipp City and Tamra Grayson (Robert) of Zanesville; and her sister Geneivra "Genie" Scott of Troy. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
