He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Barton and Rosalie O'Rock (Poorman); his brother Robert Barton; and his niece Tiffany Barton. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, David Barton Jr. of Huber Heights and Destiny Barton of Tipp City; his siblings, Vickie Barton of Kettering, Tina Barton of Huber Heights, Gary Barton of Piqua, Tracy Runyon of Kentucky and Belinda Perry of Kentucky; his stepmother Shirley Barton; and his stepbrother Nay. He is also survived by his kids, grandkids, many friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County in Dave's memory.
