He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Elkins and Naomi Elkins; and his brother Wayne Alan Elkins (Short). He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann Elkins (Netzley) of Vandalia; his son Will Elkins; his daughter-in-law Caitlyn of Columbus; his grandchildren, Ezra and Naomi Elkins; his nephew Nathan Elkins of Vandalia; and his brother Dwight Evan Elkins (Skin) of Troy.
