He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Snyder and Irene Snyder (Feasel); his grandson Eric Snyder; his son Calvin Snyder; and his siblings, William, Chester, Percy, Arnold, Brooks Snyder, Pauline, Donna Jean, Betty J and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Biller; his children, James A. Snyder (Bonnie), Daniel R. Snyder and Deborah Weber (Stephen) of Tiffin; and his siblings, Donald Snyder of Bowling Green and Barbara Shaffer of Denver, CO.. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Veteran's Council or to a charity of the donor's choice.
