He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mackling and Frances Mackling (Ruehle); his wife Louise Welly; his sons, Larry James Mackling and Raymond Frederick Mackling; and his siblings, Paul Mackling, Leonard Mackling, Myron Mackling, Ilene Kuhn, Arlene Clouse, June Huth, Leona Printz and Marian Briney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
