He was predeceased by: his parents, Robinson Nelson and Velta; and his siblings, Fred Harts, Billy Nelson Holbrook and Mattie Weible.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Webb; his daughters, Tracy Hemminger (Larry), Delta Holbrook and Donna Mitsch (Kevin); his siblings, Steve Harts (Darlene) of West Liberty and Barb Milroy (Mark) of Tiffin; and his grandchildren, Levy of New Riegel, Spencer of New Riegel and Hunter Hemminger of New Riegel.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of the Nazarene.
