He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Emerson and Helen R. Emerson (Smith); and his brother Robert R.. He is survived by: his wife Inez Weisenberger; his children, Robert Emerson (Lisa) of Springboro, Sharon Lappin (James) of North Ridgeville, Lisa Snyder (Doug) of Bucyrus and Lynne Geary (Don) of Tiffin; his stepdaughter Kimberly Cooper of Alvaton; and his brother David W. Emerson (Moonyeen) of Indio, California.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren.
