He was predeceased by: his parents, Justin Alt and Verina Alt (Hepp); his siblings, Michael Alt and Janette Ruffing; and his granddaughter Mikayla Price.

He is survived by: his children, Jean Price (B. Eric) of Xenia, Stephen C. Alt of Tiffin, Melissa Sherman (Duane) of Tiffin and Ashley Alt of Clyde; and his brothers, Jerome Alt of Fremont, Wilfred Alt of Plano, TX and Rev. Kenneth Alt of Celina, OH.. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
