She was predeceased by: her father David E. Hedden. She is survived by: her mother Sharon A. Hedden (Heck) of Tiffin; her spouse Emilo Chavez; her close friend Scott Cook of Tiffin; her son Josh Chavez; and her brother Chris Hedden (Jennifer) of Toledo.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Seneca County or to Stein Hospice.
