She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Corthell and Dora Corthell (Runion); her husband James L. Scheerer; her brother Bill Corthell; her brother-in-law George Mackling; and her pet Scotty.
She is survived by: her daughter Sue Walters (Dave Riley); her sister Donna Mackling; her sister-in-law Janet Corthell of Tiffin; and her close friends, PJ and Doug Newlove of Tiffin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
