He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Sours and Ethel Sours (Wessner); his wife Donna J. Ferguson; his son Mike Coots; his siblings, Robert Sours, Henry Hines, Harold Hines, Joyce Corzine and Nancy Wilson (William Sours); his grandson Austin Stalnaker; and his great grandchild Lincoln Thiel.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Coots (Hazel), Tim Coots (Karen) of Republic, Rodney Sours of Tiffin, Brenda Runion (Gary) of Tiffin, Cheryl McDannell (Glenn) of McCutchenville, Leat Blanton of Tiffin, Ronda Bryant (Carlis) and Crista Wright; and his siblings, Gene Sours, Sr. of Tiffin, Richard Sours of McClure, Geradine Smith of Tiffin and Carolyn Gillant of Bucyrus. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; and 56 great grandchildren.
