He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richard and Naomi Green (McKuser); his wife Betty (Crawford); and his siblings, Lorenzo Green, Joe Green, Glen Green, Eva Trumble, Carol Twig, Neddy Jeffiers, Betty Evans and Patty Green.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Green of Allen, TX, Joyce Nimoks of Tiffin, Timothy Green of Findley and Melissa Green of Findley; and his siblings, Larry Green of Winchester, VA, Rosalie Reese and Darlene Secrest of Petersburg, WV.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, ten step-great-grandchildren.
