He is survived by: his wife Judith Elchert of Tiffin; his children, Lori Lucius (Gary) of Tiffin and Chris Elchert (Beth Paradiso) of Tiffin; his siblings, Alton "Maverick" Elchert (Joanne) of Tiffin, Wilbur Elchert of Fostoria, Anita Marovich of Tiffin, Dalene Reinhart (George) of Port Clinton, Howard Elchert (Maryann) of New Riegel, Glenn Elchert (Sharon) of Fostoria, Larry Elchert (Donna) of Bascom, Carole Sugden (Phil) of Findlay, Russell Elchert (Ann) of New Riegel, Florence Funk (Robert) of Grand Rapids, MI and Theresa Allen (William) of Forrest; and his sister-in-law Donna Elchert of New Riegel. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
