He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rhoad and Elsie Rhoad (Ruse); and his brothers, Bill and John Rhoad. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen of Tiffin; his children, Stephen Rhoad (Marcia) of Tiffin, Thomas Rhoad (Kim) of Howell, MI and Sue Ellen Bogner (Terry) of Holland, Ohio; his brother George Rhoad of Tiffin; his grandchildren, Aimee Bogner of Akron and Cory Bogner (Sarah) of Whitehouse; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Bogner and Jack Bogner.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, Humane Society of Seneca County or to a charity of the donor's choice.
