Rick Ferkel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2024, at the age of 84, Rick Ferkel of Tiffin, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ferkel and Velma Ferkel (Binger); and his sister Joanne Avers (Robert). He is survived by: his wife Cathy Cramer; his children, Felicia Krippe of Allentown, PA, Tony Ferkel (Kim) of Los Angeles, CA and Ricky Ferkel (Kylee) of Clare, MI; his grandchildren, Heather, Nicole, Leanne Finken, Lauren Fassel (Troy), Kai, Jake, Kinley, Riggs, Rhett and Reese Ferkel; and his former wife Patricia Hartline. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame, Fremont Hall of Fame, or made to the family.
