He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Elizabeth Hiser (Smith) and Donavon Hiser; his siblings, Walter Thomas Hiser, Judith Ann Hickle and Jacqulyn Lee Hiser; his brother-in-law John Hartsel; and his great grandchild Remy Allen Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Marie (Margraf); his children, Richard "Rick" Hiser II (Sandy), Steve Hiser, Kristina Keller (Mark), Debra Meisner (Jeremy) and Peg Chaffin (Matt); his grandchildren, Richard "Rick" Hiser III (Erica), Andrew Chaffin (Haley Meyers), Dan Keller, Nathan Keller (Alyssa), Troy Keller (Chelsea), Alex Keller, Joshua Hoffman (Tracy), Curtis Meisner, Keesha Hiser (Rich Costilla), Natasha Nichols (Marky) and Erin Chaffin; his great grandchildren, Max Hiser, Mya Hiser, Madalyn Hiser, Jayden Ruehle, Brody Purkey, Mitchel Keller, Sydney Keller, Kenzie Keller and Brayson Keller; and his sister Betty Hartsel. He is also survived by his wife of 63 years, all of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
