He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Gase and Irene Gase (Boes); his grandchild Gweneth Ann Eshelman; and his brothers, Lawrence and Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Gase (Lynn) of Sidney, Janet Eshelman (Bryon) of New Knoxville, Connie Speros (Bill) of Cleveland, Laura Monachino (Paul) of Perrysburg, Peter Gase (Tiffany) of Royal Oak, MI, John Gase (Catherine) of Tiffin, Andrew Gase (Anne) of Tiffin, Philip Gase (Rosalind) of Tiffin and Julie Arnold (Vincent) of Tiffin; and his siblings, Russell Gase (Peg) of Tiffin, Joann Weaver of Carey and Barbara Mullennex of Tiffin. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Maintenance Fund, Ecumenical Sharing Kitchen at St. Paul's United Methodist Church or to the Gase Family Literacy Fund through the Tiffin Community Foundation.
