He was predeceased by: his father Roger Lee Mitchem; and his siblings, Rick Mitchem and Sara Hess. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Foster (Lowe) of Tiffin; his children, Ashley Alexander of North Carolina, Timothy Mitchem of Bassett, Nikki Smith of Fostoria, Chris Hess of Bassett and Melanie Smith (Gladys Smith) of Tiffin; and his siblings, Ronald Mitchem of Northfork, Eddie Hess of Bassett Virginia and Sherry Toland of Tiffin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
