He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Staib and Ruth Staib (Malone); his parents-in-law, Andy and Ruth Werling; his siblings, Willis Staib and Helen Collins; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Borer and Jim Werling; his nieces, Terry Roberts and April Platt; and his nephew Jim Borer.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly (Werling); and his siblings-in-law, Ruthann Varvel (Bob) of Kingston, Pam Frazier (Dale) of Stoutsville, Rose Werling of Findlay, Jerry Borer of Fremont and Bob Collins of Bloomdale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
