He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hannay and A. Katherine Hannay (Hess); his siblings, Ronnie Hannay, Margaret Garloch and Eva Rae Cody; and his nephew Greg Garloch.

He is survived by: his wife Sally Hannay; his son David Hannay; and his sister Mabel Lou McLeah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
