He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kinn and Victoria Kinn (Pahl); his mother-in-law Jacqueline Sue (Shartzer); his children, Norman "Joey" Kinn Jr. and Kelli Shaw; his siblings, Raymond, Cletus, Gerald, Edmund "Ted", Cyrille (Vernon Kinn), Martha Smith, Rita Reinhart, Mary Magdelene and Mary Catherine; and also Herman Kinn.
He is survived by: his children, Michael S. Porter of Tiffin, Derek S. Porter of Tiffin, Kimberly Stump of Bettsville, Brett Porter Dublin (Katherine), Bruce Porter (Carla) of Tiffin, Barry Porter of Toledo and Jackie Makowski (Brian) of Findlay. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
