He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hossler and Gertrude Hossler (Wagner); his wife Carol A. Hossler; and his siblings, Eldon Hossler, Donald Hossler, Sgt. Robert Hossler, Phillip Hossler, Daryl Hossler, Douglas Hossler, Frank "Joe" Hossler and Gaye Louise Hossler.
He is survived by: his children, Lynne O'Brien (Michael) of Huron and Gary Hossler (Dora) of Tiffin; and his siblings, John Werling of Tiffin, June Hossler of Indianapolis, IN and Norma Wagner of Tiffin. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
